We are proud to announce that we have gone live with our self-service platform für appvertisers. It allows developers to directly book into our system, allocate budgets and view reportings on marketing success.

Over the past few months, during the closed beta phase, we’ve gradually given a three-digit number of app developers access to the self-service area. This enabled us to test this feature extensively and incorporate changes in response to user feedback. We’re delighted that we’re now in a position to launch such a strong product offering ‘appvertisers’ centralized access to our network

Wir sind stolz zu vermelden, dass wir kürzlich mit der apprupt Self-Service Plattform live gegangen sind. Nun können sich Entwickler direkt in unser System einbuchen, Budget aufladen und Kampagnen zuordnen sowie Reportings einsehen.

Wir haben in den letzten Monaten während der Closed Beta schrittweise eine dreistellige Zahl an App Entwicklern in den Self-Service Bereich gelassen und diesen somit ausgiebig testen sowie eine Menge Feedback verarbeiten können. Wir freuen uns nun sehr, mit einem starken Produkt an den Start zu gehen und „Appvertisern“ somit einen zentralen Zugang zu unserem Netzwerk zu bieten.

We are excited to announce that we have recently closed a financing round with Deutsche Telekom, KfW and our existing investor Neuhaus Partners.

Having already been financed in 2008 by Neuhaus Partners, we are pleased to have landed another strong investor with T-Venture, who is significant for us in this market segment.

Together with our investors, we now look forward to future international growth in an exciting and rapidly growing market environment.

Throughout the last year we have grown to almost 40 apprupt App Stores on partnering portals. Most of these stores are on a mobile website.

Lately, we have been focussing on extending our reach regarding in-app App Stores as well. This is important to us, as we want to reach users where they are and provide a great service to our partners regardless of whether they operate a mobile website, an app or both.

So check out the new inside-handy app and our store in it (download here). The app is free to download and provides news and information regarding mobile in general as well as detailed information on mobile phones. They also also do podcasts, so the app should definitely be worth the download.

Good news again, apprupt has been placed second for best B2B Startup at the BITKOM Innovators’ Pitch 2010 at CEBIT. We competed against two other companies in our category, which were chosen out of more than 40 applicants. You can watch the entire event including our three minute pitch and the awards ceremony here (German, “3^rd of march” tab).

We were invited by Mobile Monday Austria to hold one of three Keynotes for the event, which was this time was all about App Marketing. We had a lot of fun and gained some good insights on the Austrian developer/mobile scene. We’ve embedded the presentation below, check it out!

We have some great news today! The mobile website of Simyo now includes an apprupt App Store. Go have a look at it by visiting m.simyo.de with your iPhone or iPod Touch. The store offers a selection of lifestyle, productivity, fun, gaming and location apps.
