Hamburg, May 2nd, 2011 – With its latest performance initiative, apprupt provides innovative new advertising solutions for the mobile web. This means that even classic advertisers can use apprupt’s extensive network of mobile premium publishing environments to advertise their products and brands in a performance-orientated manner. In addition to the main pillar of context-sensitive advertisement of apps in apprupt’s Premium Performance Network, apprupt is also extending its business activities and now a point of call for non-app advertising companies who want premium coverage and performance-driven marketing in the mobile web. At the heart of this new initiative are the advertising solutions Pocket Ad and MIAd (Mobile Interactive Ads).
Pocket Ads – a cost-efficient substitute for native apps
Pocket Ads as a type of web-based apps provide companies with the opportunity to advertise their brands and products in a similar, sustainable form just like a downloadable native app. The integrable functions include content features such as mapping functions, rich media content, videos and incentive measures such as coupon offers.
The advantage of Pocket Ad is that it can be offered and distributed independently of the app marketplaces. You do not need to offer the application in the usual app marketplace as is necessary with native apps. The Pocket Ad can be directly downloaded via the browser on the user’s smartphone from the environment in which it is offered onto the home screen and used immediately. A positive side effect of this is that the Pocket Ad remains on the device as a permanent lock-in and thus creates additional branding effects for the advertiser. The mail order company OTTO has already used the new format with great success to promote an incentive for free shipping.
MIAd – Mobile Lead Generation through interactive click-to-x formats
Mobile Lead Generation in apprupt’s Premium Network is initially enabled by the use of click-to-call and click-to-SMS advertising solutions. This means that the potential end customer is given a direct means of communication to the brand immediately after advertising contact, whether by SMS to a quick dial address, by telephone or with a call-back function for customer service and acquisition. Contvertising advertising format guarantees supply to premium segments
Both Pocket Ads and the interactive click-to-x format were supplied via the ContvertisingTM advertising format developed by apprupt.
